Unwinders

The FIMTech unwinders are available in a range of standard models, but unwinders to fulfil specific customer requirements can also be delivered.

Some of the outstanding features of a FIMTech unwinder are not easily seen from the exterior and includes functions like:
  • Advanced motion control of motors
  • Web break detection without need of sensors
  • Optimal use of the festoon function to avoid wrinkles
  • Automatic detection of outer diameter of new roll
Production speed up to 500 meters per minute is available as standard.

Cut & place applicators

Modular and flexible applicators for accurate,
high speed application of features like:
  • Frontal tape
  • Release paper
  • Waist elastics
  • Tapes (H&L, elasticated)
  • Elastic belts
Units for production speeds above 600 pieces per minute
are available.

Ultrasonic bonding units

Accurate, high speed bonding units for lamination of material layers
to create different product features, e.g. standing leg cuffs.

Units for line speeds above 400 meters per minute are available.
